Terms & Conditions

1. About PipeSafe Plumbing Care Plans

PipeSafe Plumbing Care Plans are recurring maintenance programs designed to protect your home or property from costly plumbing emergencies. Each plan includes scheduled inspections, priority service, and exclusive member discounts.

All services are delivered by licensed and insured professionals in accordance with applicable Australian state and territory regulations.

2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to services that are:

  • Provided with due care and skill

  • Fit for their intended purpose

  • Supported by remedies if they fail to meet these guarantees

These rights apply in addition to PipeSafe’s own service policies and commitments.

3. Eligibility

To subscribe to a PipeSafe Plumbing Care Plan, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Own or legally occupy the property being serviced

  • Be located within our active service area

4. What You Receive

As a Plumbing Care Plan member, you’re entitled to the services specified under your selected plan, which may include:

  • Annual or biannual plumbing inspections

  • Priority scheduling for non-emergency services

  • Discounts on repairs, parts, and labour

  • Waived call-out or diagnostic fees (depending on plan level)

  • Exclusive member-only offers and promotions

Please note: Major repairs, replacements, or pre-existing issues are not included unless specifically stated in your plan.

5. Your Responsibilities

To ensure effective service delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to plumbing areas during scheduled visits

  • Maintain your property in a safe, sanitary condition for our staff

  • Notify PipeSafe promptly of any plumbing issues or urgent service needs

Missed appointments without prior notice may incur a rebooking fee.

6. Pricing & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in AUD, inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

  • By subscribing, you authorise PipeSafe to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis.

  • You’ll receive a tax invoice for each billing period.

7. Automatic Renewal

Your Plumbing Care Plan will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
We’ll notify you of any upcoming price changes or plan updates before renewal.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel at any time by:

  • Logging into your PipeSafe account

  • Emailing admin@pipesafe.com.au

  • Calling 1300 747 372

Monthly Plans:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

  • No refunds are issued for partial months.

  • You’ll retain benefits until your paid period ends.

Annual Plans:

  • Cancellations are accepted anytime.

  • If no services have been used, a full refund applies.

  • If services have been used, a pro-rata refund may apply, minus the value of services already delivered (at standard non-discounted rates).

9. Emergency Services

PipeSafe members receive priority response for emergency plumbing issues.
However, response times may vary depending on:

  • Location and technician availability

  • Severity and risk level of the issue

  • Safety considerations for staff and property

Emergency callouts may incur additional fees unless covered by your plan.

10. Limitation of Liability

Except where required by law, PipeSafe’s liability is limited to:

  • Re-performing the affected service, or

  • Refunding the amount paid for that service.

PipeSafe is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses unless required under the ACL (Australian Consumer Law).

11. Technicians & Licensing

All PipeSafe technicians are:

  • Licensed in accordance with state and territory regulations

  • Fully insured for public liability and workmanship

  • Trained and certified to perform plumbing maintenance safely and effectively

Licence numbers and credentials are available upon request.

12. Emergency Services Disclaimer

While members receive priority attention, same-day emergency repairs cannot be guaranteed.
Emergency jobs are scheduled according to urgency, availability, and safety. Additional fees may apply for after-hours or high-demand situations.

13. Changes to Terms

PipeSafe reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of your plan constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
